Astrail turns long-term goals into a personal star map: you set a voyage, mark waypoints along the way, and when you finish, a planet is lit and kept as a memento with the date, how long it took, and what you wrote at that moment.

Every goal is a plain Markdown (.md) file. By default those files live in Astrail's own storage on this device — you can open them in the Files app under On My iPhone › Astrail, and deleting Astrail deletes them. Turn on iCloud sync in Settings and they move to your own private iCloud container: from then on they show up under iCloud Drive › Astrail, and they stay there even if you delete Astrail. Either way, we never see them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. Open the planet from your star map, then tap the edit key on the label row. You can change the reflection text and add, replace, or remove the photo. The record of what happened — the date you finished and how many days it took — is fixed, because that is what makes the certificate mean something.
There is a daily limit on completions. When you reach it, the goal stays exactly where it is and you can finish it the next day — nothing is lost, and no star you have already lit is ever taken away, dimmed, or locked.
The Pass raises capacity — more voyages and more rhythms at the same time, and a higher daily ceiling on the energy you can earn — and includes one Pass-only ship appearance. You still earn energy by doing things — energy can never be bought with money. If a subscription lapses, every star you have already lit stays exactly as it is; only future capacity is limited.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, or on your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Open Settings in Astrail and turn on iCloud sync. If a backup is found, you will be offered a restore. Restoring only ever adds — it never deletes or lowers anything already on this device.
Open the Pass screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it. If it still doesn't appear, email us and include the date of purchase.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Astrail and make sure notifications are allowed. Astrail only schedules reminders locally on your device; it does not send push notifications from a server.
If something in Astrail is hard to read, hard to reach, or hard to use with VoiceOver or larger text, please tell us — that is a bug, and we want to hear about it.
